Student parking lot? That's one lucky kid!

Someone in my school managed to convince their parents to get them a 435i

The kid’s also got an XF, a Tesla, and an E-Class.

We live in Ashburn, which has the highest median income (~$123k/yr.) of the highest median income county (Loudoun) in the nation. All of the students here could literally buy your family. ESPECIALLY the ones who drive the shitboxes.

No they can’t. Slavery is illegal.

Lucky kid, I grew up in a rich NoVa area too (Clifton/Centreville) but never saw students in anything that exotic.

No one to do anything about it if they pay off the Feds.

I’m not a business, so no they can't...

That would be so awesome. I'd probably take the Maserati everyday though.

He’s also got an XF, an E-Class Coupe, and a Tesla, and lives literally a mile from school.
Me personally, I’d’ve just gone full enchilada and demanded a Bentley but hey what do I know about being rich?

And have the rest of the school hate you? Even the girl who drives a 911 to school thinks he’s an ass.
![]() 06/01/2015 at 19:56 |

Well I mean I wouldn't be an ass. I don't let the badge on my car define who I am, that's just dumb.

Those are surprisingly mature choices.. I would’ve just gotten a new M3/4 or a GTR in high school. I would've spent tons modding the cars too.
I got to ride around in a ~3 year old 3 series and it made me super happy, loved the car so much. Really turned up my interest in cars. It was also super reliable, which was great since I paid for my maintenance and insurance. It was surprisingly cheaper to insure than the accord I expected to be getting.

lolol I’m from Redmond, WA where the median income is around $95k a year.
here, the kids of rich people get hand-me-downs.
I was recently at a friend’s house. The house itself is a 6000sqft mansion worth $4.2 Million. My friend’s car? Her mom’s old 2003 BMW X5 3.0i. :P

There's a new Ghibli at my high school. I don't have SR20 though

I’m not sure 6k square feet qualifies as a *mansion*. I think the term ‘McMansion’ might be more applicable.

All that money spent and zero manual transmission cars!

I’m more interested in the Nissan hardbody pickup truck parked next to the Maserati.
That's the same truck I had in high school, only missing a ugly decal on the side

Depends on the lot. I tend to call any nice house on a big ass plot of land that’s not a farm a mansion

Damn...
My high school couldn’t afford paper
![]() 06/01/2015 at 21:46 |
|
We can afford:
*$1mil of Prometheus boards
*expansions
*new parking lots
*$100k auditorium reno, with $62k organ
What we can’t afford:
Working roofs
Clean bathrooms
Paper
Heating
Wifi
Adequate seating
Teachers
Gotta love it when your school’s priorities are 100% in check!

That’d be my other friend’s car.

heh, not if this is a one off architect designed 3-story waterfont property, featuring a large backyard, private security, 180* water views, and is constructed out of solid materials (AKA not wood)
While it isn't big in square footage, the family of 4 really doesn't need it; considering they have 2 bedrooms to spare. what's important is the style. every room on the top floor facing west features at least one balcony, while the middle floor has a huge outdoor deck. On ground level, there is a huge entertainment room. Really beautiful home

I kid you not, when I was in high school, students weren’t allowed to plug their phones in to charge because we couldn’t pay for electricity.
